New visibility materials including brochures, posters and a special website presentation are now available on the website

One of the aims of the Twinning Project is to support the increasing participation of the civil society in the EU accession process and to contribute to a greater visibility of the role of parliaments in this process. The new visibility documents assist the general public to gain knowledge on the role of the national parliaments and parliamentary assemblies in the EU enlargement process.

Another objective of these publications was to contribute to the information activities of the BiH Parliaments in their relations towards the public and to present their activities related to the EU accession process. These publications would also support a better knowledge in the society about the EU in general and the role of the parliaments in the process of European integration in particular.

The experts prepared three different types of information and visibility materials i.e. a booklet, a poster and a website presentation with similar content on parliamentary EU-related activities. These materials were translated and then published in agreement with the BiH Parliaments and in line with EU visibility requirements.

The publications contain a short introduction of the history of the BiH-EU relations; the most important steps towards the accession of a country to the EU in general; the role of the parliaments and parliamentary assemblies in the EU accession process; and the relevant stakeholders of the BiH Parliaments in EU matters.
